My “candidate’s contract”

If elected to serve the people of Broxtowe as your MP

1. I will publish my Parliamentary expense claims on my web site every year and then hold a public meeting
2.  I will not employ any member of my family, councillor or political activist using tax payers money
3.  I will only claim for accommodation in London, utility and council tax bills.
4. I will not “flip” homes and will pay taxes just like everyone else.
5. I will keep all or any claims to a minimum never forgetting that as your MP I am funded by your money.

Welcome to our web site and please use it to learn more about me and why I hope to be elected as Broxtowes next MP.

2009 was one of the toughest years ever for many families in Broxtowe as the recession deepened. We are now the last developed country to come out of the worst recession of modern times. But we are left we a huge deficit.

Come the General Election later this year you will face a clear choice - either five more years of Gordon Brown and his Labour Government or the policies and vision of David Cameron.

In the meantime  Broxtowe Conservatives and I I will continue to campaign to save our Green Belt from development and oppose car parking charges in the Borough.

If I can help you in any way please contact me.   I look forward to hearing from you.

GREEN BELT LATEST

Broxtowe Borough Council's cabinet has voted to move to the next stage of plans to build thousands of homes on the areas green belt.

The latest report, compiled by a committee from Broxtowe and other councils, accepted the Governments target of 6,800 new houses for the Borough. Conservative Councillors said a decision should be deferred until after the General Election. But Lab and Lib Dem councillors who say build on our precious green belt is "inevitable" agreed to press on.
